Nicon Coolpix L-11 Digital Cameras
The Nikon Coolpix L-11 Digital Camera belongs to the same “Life” Series of the Coolpix Family, and shares same or almost similar features with L-10 and L-12.
The Nikon Coolpix L11 Digital Camera comes with a 6 megapixel CCD. It has a 3x zoom lens, equivalent to a 38-113 mm lens that has Vibration Reduction added, and a 2.4 inch color LCD , with 115,000 pixel resolution, but it does not include an optical viewfinder. Unlike many others, the LCD of Coolpix L-11 can be used under full sunlight.
The Nicon L-11 has some special features like D-Lighting, which improved shadow details in darker images, the Red Eye Fix, which automatically eliminates red eye details from your image and Face Priority AF, with face focusing capability.
Auto, Scene and Movie are the three capture modes used in Coolpix L-11. There are five movie options: 640×480 pixels at 30 fps broadcast quality or 15 fps; 320x 240pixels at 30 fps and 15 fps; and 160×120 at 15 fps for compact mode.
The Nicon L-11 has a 21 MB built in memory and a SD/MMC card slot, which also accommodates new SDHC cards, and also has a USB port, as well as video connectivity. Power comes from two AA batteries.
The Nicon L-11, belonging to the “Life” series of the Coolpix range, is targeted towards casual users, and belongs to a low price range. The cameras are good looking, light weight and attractive. They fit in your pocket easily, and are reliable.
For printing the images, there are options of marking the images that you wish to print, from within the camera. Any DPOF compatible printer will recognize from the memory card, which images and how many copies to print. Like L-12, it also connects to Kodak’s ImageLink printer using its plastic dock.
